This specific strain is amazing.

This was my first time buying here and I was super impressed. The faster than Amazon 2dd was amazing. The freebies were also very appreciated.
I've dabbed thc for years and quit. This reminds me of my high end dabbing days. Great flavor that lasted for several hits and was smooth. Honestly can't wait for my next order.

When it comes to CBD Hemp Flower strains, Special Sauce truly lives up to its name. The Special Sauce hemp strain is made particularly special due to its high cannabinoid and terpene content. On average, this hybrid strain contains around 20% CBD and a wide variety of terpenes.

Special Sauce is the flagship strain of seed company Oregon CBD. Breeders crossed the original Special Sauce cannabis strain with Early Resin Berry (ERB). This created a hybrid cross with characteristics from each of the parent strains that tests low for THC and high for CBD.

What makes this strain even more special is the terpene profile. Terpenes are aromatic chemical compounds found throughout nature. They give hemp and cannabis their signature aromas and flavors. Beyond smell and taste, terpenes also potentiate the effects of cannabinoids, and they even have effects of their own.

The Special Sauce hemp strain has a particularly diverse terpene profile compared to other hemp cultivars and this makes it the perfect strain for making flavorful CBD concentrates.

Some of the primary terpenes present in this strain are beta-Myrcene, beta-Caryophyllene, Limonene, & alpha-Pinene. And that’s only naming a few!

•Myrcene: Found in mangos and hops. This terpene gives beer its peppery aroma. Many find myrcene to be relaxing or even mildly sedating.

•beta-Caryophyllene: Found in Rosemary, hops, & cloves. This terpene also has somewhat of a peppery/spicy aroma. Because of its ability to bind to the CB2 receptors, it has strong anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antibacterial, and antioxidant properties. There is evidence that may be helpful in relieving pain & anxiety.

•Limonene: Found in citrus fruits and in other plants. Needless to say, this terpene contributes to the citrusy aroma of many cannabis & hemp strains. Limonene acts as an antioxidant in our bodies and absorbs/removes damaging free radicals before they can injure our cells. There is even speculation that regular use of limonene may lower the risk of certain cancers and signs of aging by reducing oxidative stress.

•alpha-Pinene: Found in pine needles, orange peels, & basil. If you’ve ever smelled a pine forest you’ve smelled alpha-Pinene! This terpene is a strong anti-inflammatory and studies have shown it to be a strong bronchodilator as well.

All these terpenes combine to create a unique hoppy citrus aroma with notes of spicy vanilla. Certainly, one of the more distinct flavor profiles among the popular hemp cultivars available today.

The effects provided by the Special Sauce strain are balanced between indica and sativa characteristics and don’t lean too far in either direction. This makes Special Sauce a versatile strain that can be enjoyed at any time of day.

We are very excited to offer this Special Sauce CBD Live Resin in our collection here at Sauce Warehouse. This live resin is packed with what just might be the most diverse terpene profile we have ever seen in a CBD concentrate.

At over 11% total terpenes, this live resin is a terp connoisseurs dream come true! Top terpenes include beta-Myrcene, beta-Caryophyllene, Limonene, alpha-Pinene, alpha-Humulene, & alpha-Bisabolol.

Not only do these terpenes contribute to an amazing aroma and flavor, but also to the potent effects of the cannabinoids. Testing at over 70% CBDa, nearly 1% CBDVa, and over 2% THCa, this live resin is sure to provide a strong entourage effect resulting from the synergetic interaction between cannabinoids and terpenes.

You might ask, what makes this CBD live resin different from other CBD dabs on the market today?

Well, it’s quite simple. Sauce Warehouse only sells the highest quality hemp extracts on the market. 90% of the CBD concentrates available today are fake! They might be sold as ‘CBD wax’, CBD ‘shatter’, CBD ‘crumble’, etc., however in most cases they are mixtures of CBD isolate and/or CBD distillate.

Many vendors love to use the word ‘formulated’, but this is the first warning sign that they are just trying to fool you.

This Special Sauce CBD Live Resin is the real deal. Fresh hemp flower buds are hand bucked and immediately flash frozen in a IQF nitrogen tunnel. This preserves precious terpenes and cannabinoids that would otherwise be destroyed using traditional drying and curing methods.

Finally, a cryogenic butane extraction process is used to extract the live resin from the flower. This process results in a terpene rich live resin that contains acid dominant cannabinoids such as CBDa and THCa opposed to CBD and Delta-9 THC.

Not only is this great for ensuring compliance with the federal limit of <0.3% Delta-9 THC, but it’s also great for the growing number of consumers who are seeking out CBDa specifically.

We are happy to provide a full panel of lab results for this Special Sauce live resin including residual solvents analysis and pesticides analysis. Check the COA’s before purchasing and find peace of mind in knowing you are consuming a safe product.

It’s never a bad idea to be too cautious when purchasing any CBD product. In a market that is unregulated you can never be too careful. Luckily, you’ve found Sauce Warehouse!

Special Sauce live resin has been lab tested for both residual solvents and pesticides.

Residual solvents are solvents that have been left behind in a hemp extract after the extraction process is complete. From the evidence we have available today, these trace amounts of solvents are rarely present in large enough amounts to cause any harm to humans, but it’s always comforting to know with certainty exactly what you are consuming.

A residual solvents analysis is a test that is performed on hemp and cannabis extracts to ensure the product is safe to consume.

These tests typically display a few columns with one being a limit of quantification and another being the actual percentage found in the test sample. The limit of quantification or LOQ is the lowest value the test can detect. A list of common solvents is listed adjacent to these columns and if one of them is present in the test sample a percentage is recorded for that solvent.

As previously mentioned, it is not necessarily dangerous for a product to contain very small trace amounts a solvent. The thing to look out for is extremely high percentages. 800ppm butane for example has been considered the maximum exposure limit for humans, but this was recently raised to 5,000ppm for BHO or butane hash oil extracts. This is the new legal limit for all butane extracts. If you find a product containing anything over this number, it’s probably best to avoid it.

Pesticides analysis is another common test performed on hemp and cannabis products. Most growers of hemp and cannabis avoid using dangerous pesticides, but again, for peace of mind it is always nice to know for sure what is in your products. Very similar to a residual solvents test, pesticides tests will look for pesticides instead of solvents. The results will be displayed using the same format as the residual solvents test.

Pesticides are a bit trickier when interpreting the results. With residual solvents, you are almost always going to be dealing with primarily butane, so you only need to worry the safe levels of butane and maybe a few other solvents. With pesticides there are many different types that may show up in test results and each may have very a very different safe exposure level. Often labs will have either ‘PASS’ or ‘FAIL’ somewhere on the results page which can be helpful in determining if the levels are safe or dangerous. When this isn’t the case, you may have to do some of your own research to make this determination.

In addition to residual solvents and pesticides COA’s, the standard cannabinoid potency COA and terpene analysis COA are also available for this live resin. Cannabinoid potency tests display the full cannabinoid profile and the percentages of each cannabinoid present in the test sample. Terpene analysis tests display the full terpene profile and the percentages of each terpene found in the test sample.

Our long-term goal at Sauce Warehouse is to provide full panel lab results for every product we offer. Due to the costs of full panel tests many vendors only provide a simple cannabinoid potency COA. We’re hoping that as we and other vendors we work with grow, these costs will become less of a burden and more products will come with full panel lab results.

If you are interested in viewing lab results for any product here at Sauce Warehouse, they will always be available on each product page under ‘Certificates of Analysis’. They are also viewable by scanning the QR codes on the products themselves.

As a CBD company, we are forbidden from making any medical claims about CBD or CBD products. While many studies have shown beneficial properties exist for not only CBD but also many minor cannabinoids, marketers of CBD products are not allowed to reference these.

With that said, there are many benefits of using CBD live resin that we can talk about! The first major benefit and likely the characteristic of live resin that makes it the most popular form of hemp extract on the market is the flavor. Live resin tastes amazing.

Because live resin is extracted from flower that has been frozen immediately after harvest, it contains higher percentages of cannabinoids and terpenes than other types of concentrates. This higher terpene content gives live resin a ‘live plant’ or a ‘whole plant’ flavor that overwhelms the senses and creates one of the most enjoyable experiences one can have while consuming a CBD concentrate.

A good way of think of it is this, CBD live resin is like fresh squeezed orange juice while other types of CBD concentrates are like orange juice made from concentrate. They just aren’t the same in terms of flavor and aroma.

Live resin is also more potent than other concentrates. This is in part due to the higher cannabinoid content, but it is also due to the higher percentages of terpenes present which not only have their own effects but also potentiate the effects of cannabinoids. A strong synergetic entourage effect is the result and these potent effects paired with the unbeatable flavor makes CBD live resin the most sought-after product in the CBD concentrate market.

Additional benefits of vaporizing high CBD live resin are a quicker and more efficient absorption of CBD and other cannabinoids. Inhaling vaporized cannabinoids is much more efficient than eating CBD gummies or using tinctures.

Vaporizing is also much healthier than inhaling smoke. Besides, when it comes to the overall flavor and experience of vaporizing live resin compared to smoking flower, live resin comes out on top every time.
