99.79% pure CBN Isolate can be dabbed, added to flower bowls or joints/blunts, vaped using a vaporizer, or added to food/drink. Cannabinol's popularity has grown as a 'nighttime cannabinoid' due to its alleged sedative effects. Some studies point to CBN's potential to be more powerful than valium, albeit further research is needed to confirm these claims.  Read more about CBN here.

Cannabinol

If you don't know what cannabinol is, and you have difficulty sleeping, I highly suggest purchasing at least to start a small amount of cannabinol isolate. Take your Delta 8 flower or your CBD flower or whatever, dabs etc, and mix it in with CBN isolate. Not only will it help you sleep faster, but it will give you a more restorative sleep. Make sure that if you buy CBN, you buy the isolated powdered CBN. That way it's in its most purest of forms.

Thanks Steve!

Great for sleep

I sprinkled probably too much of this into my herb and it got me really tired which is great because that's exactly why I bought it. This is a great product to keep around.

More Info

Cannabidiol (CBD) and Cannabinol (CBN) are two of the more than 100 natural chemicals called cannabinoids found in cannabis.

You may have heard of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a psychoactive chemical present in marijuana. However, unlike THC, CBD and CBN are not mind-altering. That means they will not get you high or alter your perception. Instead, they are promoted for their health benefits. However, these two cannabinoids are not the same. Although CBD and CBN both interact with the bodies endocannabinoid system, they produce different effects.

CBD is more common than CBN. Derived from hemp, CBD is legal in the United States, although state laws may vary. You can find CBD products in stores and even gas stations. It is found in a variety of beauty and nutrition products such as oils, shampoos, creams, pills and chocolates. It is also commonly used by people with symptoms of anxiety, insomnia, and various forms of chronic pain and other medical conditions.

CBN, on the other hand, is not very common or easy to find. This is because there has not been much research in humans or animals on its benefits, uses and side effects. However, CBN is becoming increasingly popular for its potential benefits such as sleep and pain control.

CBD is known as a panacea treatment for many medical conditions as well as pain symptoms. However, more scientific research is required to support many of the medical claims being passed around.

There is strong evidence for the potential of CBD to treat epileptic syndromes that cause seizures. These medical conditions often affect children and are not responsive to traditional antiepileptic drugs. Studies have shown that CBD is effective in significantly reducing symptoms and, in some cases, eliminating them. The FDA approved the first and only CBD drug called Epidiolex. This drug has been shown to be effective in treating epilepsy. Research into the use of CBD to treat other health conditions is ongoing but currently limited.

There is hope that CBD may be an effective treatment for the following medical conditions:

• Diabetes
• Parkinson's disease
• Anxiety
• Multiple sclerosis
• Cancer
• Schizophrenia

Animal studies and reports from users have suggested that CBD may also be beneficial for those suffering with:

• Addiction: CBD has been shown to reduce cravings for opiates, stimulants, alcohol, and other mind-altering drugs.

• Insomnia: Studies have shown that CBD can help you fall asleep and stay asleep.

• Chronic pain: Some studies have linked the use of CBD to reduced inflammation in joints and muscles in conditions such as arthritis.

CBN is known as a weaker form of THC. With aging, THC is broken down. As a result, a less potent cannabinoid is produced called CBN. It is about 75% weaker than THC, making it a mild cannabinoid. Unlike CBD, which is often considered non-psychoactive, CBN can be slightly psychoactive in high doses.

CBN has not been studied or used as widely as CBD or THC, so we don't know much about its uses and benefits. Some of the potential applications and benefits found in studies are:

• Pain Relief: CBN has been shown to relieve muscle and joint pain in conditions such as fibromyalgia. Relief increased when CBD and CBN were used together.

• Neuroprotectant: CBN has been shown to delay the onset of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a disease affecting cells in the brain and spinal cord.

• Sleep Aid: The sedative effects of CBN may be helpful in treating conditions such as insomnia, though more research is required.

CBD is found in a variety of oral and topical products that you can find online or at your local grocery store, pharmacy, or gas station. It is also available in recreational and medical marijuana dispensaries.

Common ways to consume CBD:

• Concentrates and extracts
• Vaporizers or vape pens
• Gummies
• Edibles
• Patches
• Topical creams
• Lotions
• Dyes
• Oils
• Shampoo
• Pills or capsules
• CBD isolate

CBN, although not as common, can be consumed in:

• Vaporizers or vape pens
• Edibles
• Gummies
• Tinctures
• Oils
• Dyes
• Pills and capsules
• Tea bags
• CBN isolate

CBD has many health benefits that have been reported by users and researched by professionals, but it can cause side effects and even harm if used incorrectly. Some products can also be contaminated or mislabeled. According to the FDA, CBD is illegal to market when added to foods or sold as a dietary supplement.

The quality of CBD products and products with unproven medical claims can also have serious consequences for your health. Products purchased in the store or sold online may appear to be products that have only been infused with CBD, but they may contain small amounts of THC and misleading purity and dosage information. This could compromise the safety of the product. It can also show up on drug tests or have serious legal or medical consequences.

Experts are not fully aware of the short- and long-term effects of using CBD, and more research is needed on its uses, risks, and benefits. The side effects of CBD are:

• Reduced appetite
• Fatigue
• Drowsiness
• Dry mouth
• Diarrhea
• Liver problems
• Infertility in men
• Mood swings
• Irritability

CBD can also interact with some prescription drugs or even alcohol and this can lead to unwanted side effects.

The side effects of CBN are unknown. This is not because they don't exist, we still don't have enough evidence to know the short- and long-term health effects of CBN.

Before trying CBD or CBN, consult your doctor about the potential benefits and side effects. If you are unsure of the correct dose to use, speak to a doctor. If you experience any side effects or allergic reactions to CBD or CBN products, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital for medical attention.
